Un cottage en France est une vieille fermette au bout du village, au nord de la Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Je la connais bien depuis l’enfance, de maison de vacances champêtre en permanente restauration, ce cottage est devenu l’endroit tranquille où j’habite. Ce blog est l’album photo de ces tentatives de transition d’un cadre rustique lourd vers des ambiances campagne-chic au romantisme « vieux monde ».
A cottage in France is an old farmhouse at the edge of the village, in the north of Nouvelle-Aquitaine. I have known it well since childhood, from a rustic vacation house in constant restoration, this cottage has become the quiet place where I live. This blog is the photo album of these attempts to transition from a heavy rustic setting to a country-chic ambiance with « old world » romance.
