En entrant dans le vieux café, après quelques pas dans le village à midi, les souvenirs de la vie locale s’accumulent sur les murs. C’est aussi ça qu’on vient y chercher, je ne peux pas imaginer l’endroit neutralisé par une décoration moderne. La fraîcheur anisée accompagnée de petits gâteaux apéritif Belin ont le goût d’apéritifs familiaux. Santé !

For the first time in days, we have a grey rainy weather to enjoy here – before the heat is back next week…
After a sublime discovery of a castle in Dompierre les Eglises 15 km away, we found this gites site http://closdeschenaies.com/en/ while googling on the area. If you wish to stay here next year, that could offer you a change of sight if the fees are ok. The gites look amazing!

No Ricard yet, I don’t think it would taste the same here, it is too cold! Thank you for the link to the holiday cottages, the site looks idyllic. We’re not sure of our plans for next year but I think they will have to include France.
